teaching music.

The National Association for Music Educators much-read and well-loved publication, “Teaching Music” was in need of a modern refresh and content reorganization. The new design follows a two-fold approach: music as an art form, and music as a structured method. The magazine flows within a formulaic structure, including content buckets, or “Movements,” as well as columns and departments, while incorporating  jewel tones and organic images that break the grid and move the eye across the page.

Layout is super cool and has many practical immediately applicable contributions. ‘Jam Session’ was so valuable in thinking about the teaching process … The ideas were practical, valuable, and most of all applicable. The importance of the focus of this valuable journal towards the immediate process of teaching makes it of interest to the reader personally as you browse through each colorful page. Nice work to the Editor and staff for their sensitivity and professionally exciting contribution to our profession.
