UNC-Chapel Hill hosts a variety of online education offerings. Many of these are powered by 2U, but the majority live on UNC’s home site. The task at hand was to create a comprehensive, all-inclusive introduction to all of UNC’s online ventures. This presented the unique challenge of creating a unified brand and voice for programs that have separate presences, as well as a wide bank of users ranging from undergraduates to doctorates to certificate-seekers.

By adhering to central UNC branding, the online offerings site presented a cohesive user experience. I was also able to introduce some new elements that maintained brand integrity, while reinvigorating the look and feel of each program. Custom iconography, a bold color palette, and soft, aspirational imagery help keep the site fresh and lively.
